At this level dancers will be trained in pointe work, adagio (slow movement) variations, turns and jumps with more complex combinations of steps being introduced gradually as they progress through this stage.

Advanced Ballet classes require an even higher degree of technical proficiency and physical strength than Intermediate levels as dancers are expected to be able to perform difficult steps with ease in order to progress further towards becoming a professional dancer.
