Hudson Yards, NYC’s newest and most ambitious development project, is a massive undertaking that is bringing new life to the city. It has already become a destination for shopping, dining, entertainment, and more. But does Hudson Yards have a movie theater?

The short answer is no. Hudson Yards does not have a movie theater as of this writing.

However, that could change in the future. The development project is still in its early stages and there are plans to add more amenities in the future. For example, Related Companies has announced plans to open an outdoor theater at Hudson Yards which would be available for film screenings as well as live performances.

In the meantime, there are plenty of places nearby to catch a movie. Two multiplexes are located just blocks away from Hudson Yards: AMC Loews 34th Street 14 and Regal Cinemas E-Walk 13 & RPX.

Hudson Yards is also connected to several nearby attractions including Times Square and Chelsea Piers which both offer movie theaters. Both locations are easily accessible by Subway from Hudson Yards.

In addition to traditional theaters, there are also several independent film venues located within walking distance of Hudson Yards such as Anthology Film Archives and Metrograph.
