How Do You Make a Long Ballet Wrap Skirt?

Making a long ballet wrap skirt is a great way to create a unique look. This versatile piece can be worn with many different outfits, from casual to dressy. The best part is that it’s easy to make and customize, so you can get the exact look you want.

To start, you’ll need some lightweight fabric, such as chiffon or jersey knit. You will also need a couple of yards of elastic for the waistband and some coordinating thread. For the skirt length, measure from your natural waist to just below the knee.

Step 1:

Cut out two rectangles of fabric that are twice as wide as your desired skirt length and your desired waist measurement plus one inch.

For example, if you want a 30-inch skirt and a 28-inch waistband, cut two 60-by-29-inch rectangles of fabric.

Step 2:

Fold each rectangle in half lengthwise with wrong sides together. Sew along the long edge with a ½-inch seam allowance.

Step 3:
