The North Carolina Museum of Art in Raleigh is one of the largest art museums in the Southeast, with a mission to serve as a catalyst for learning and creativity through the presentation and interpretation of works from around the world. With more than 40 galleries and an outdoor sculpture garden, the museum offers visitors access to a wide range of artwork from ancient to modern times.

The museum’s permanent collection includes over 5,000 works from Europe, America, Africa, and Asia. In addition to its permanent collection and special exhibitions, the North Carolina Museum of Art offers a range of educational programs for all ages.
