Is the Movie Theater in Grove City Open?

Movie Theater|Theater

For years, the movie theater at Grove City has been a staple of entertainment for the local community. Whether it be for a night out with friends or a family outing, the movie theater has long been the go-to destination for a night of fun. Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, movie theaters have been closed around the country and that includes the one in Grove City.

The closure of most movie theaters is part of an effort to help stop the spread of coronavirus. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has issued guidance on how to properly operate a theater during this time and many chains have followed these guidelines in order to protect their customers and employees. As part of these guidelines, all theatres must adhere to social distancing protocols and limit occupancy.

In addition to following CDC guidelines, some theaters have taken extra precautions such as installing plexiglass dividers between seats and increasing air filtration systems in order to help reduce the chance of transmitting any illnesses.

The good news is that some movie theaters are beginning to reopen in certain areas around the country. However, at this time, it appears that the movie theater in Grove City is not yet open. While there has been no official announcement from either Regal Cinemas or AMC Theaters – which both operate multiple locations in Ohio – it appears that they are not yet ready or willing to open up their locations in Grove City.

Conclusion:

At this time, it does not appear that the movie theater in Grove City is open. While some other theaters around the country have begun reopening their doors, it seems that Grove City’s location is still closed due to safety concerns related to COVID-19. Those looking for entertainment will have to look elsewhere until further notice.
