When Did Spandau Ballet Last Tour?

Spandau Ballet, a British pop rock band, have been performing since the late 1970s and they continue to be a popular group today. Formed in London in 1979, the band has released nine studio albums and several compilations over the years. They are best known for their hit songs such as “True”, “Gold” and “Through the Barricades”.

The band’s last full tour was their Reformation Tour from 2009-2010. The tour was a celebration of the 30th anniversary of their formation and comprised 32 dates across Europe. During this time they performed some of their biggest hits as well as a selection of songs from their most recent album at the time, Once More.

Prior to this tour, Spandau Ballet had gone on hiatus following their True Tour in 1983-1984 which marked their break into the United States. After reforming for live shows in 2009, they went on to perform at several festivals including Glastonbury Festival and Bestival in 2010.

More recently, Spandau Ballet have been playing occasional live shows including at Hyde Park in London in 2018 as part of British Summertime Concerts series. They also toured across Australia during 2018 with an eight-date arena tour which was met with much enthusiasm from fans Down Under.

Spandau Ballet have not announced any plans for future tours yet however it is likely that they will continue to play occasional live shows around the world due to their enduring popularity and legacy as one of Britain’s greatest bands.
