The Denver Ballet is one of the most beloved performing arts organizations in Colorado. Founded in 1975, the Denver Ballet has been delighting audiences for over four decades with their stunning performances.

The company is led by Artistic Director, Judith Fugate, and made up of some of the most talented and experienced dancers from around the world.

The Denver Ballet performs a wide variety of classic and contemporary ballets. From timeless classics like Swan Lake to cutting-edge works from modern choreographers like Trey McIntyre, the company brings a unique blend of styles to their performances. They also have an extensive repertoire of original pieces created by Fugate and other resident choreographers.

The Denver Ballet primarily performs at their own theater located in Downtown Denver. This venue is home to two stage areas that are equipped with state-of-the-art lighting and sound systems perfect for creating a magical atmosphere for each performance.

In addition to their regular season at the theater, the Denver Ballet also performs at various festivals and events throughout Colorado. These include August’s Grandoozy music festival, June’s Colorado Music Festival & Campout, July’s Cherry Creek Arts Festival, and October’s Denver Choreography Festival.

The company also travels internationally on occasion as part of collaborations with other ballet companies or festivals across the globe. Most recently they performed in Seoul, South Korea as part of the Seoul International Dance Festival.
